Dan Wesson 15-2 with a custom barrel shroud

Anyone ever seen one of these custom barrel shrouds for a Dan Wesson 15-2?
I purchased this pistol years ago and came across this shroud, had to have it.

Looks like a pistol that is set up for PPC competition.

I have a 686 that's got a slab sided barrel rather than a shroud. As 1911master said, it's a PPC thing.

It's a little heavy but does shoot nice.

I have something similar but 4 inches. Got it at EKW Arms. Sadly their Dan Wesson parts selection has shrunk considerably.
