Anything you have on DVD is best moved to your computers and run on a nightly backup if you want to keep it. Because of this thead, I just added Big Country to my library. If you keep them backed up you can pass down a brick of great movies to your kids. Who knows? They might even watch some of them.

That would have to be a long cold winter to muster up the time to back up a couple of hundred dvd's and CD's like that

I would have to recruit and pay an ambitious 14 year old for that kind of action

Haha, yeah if you can find an autist kid they'd really get a kick out of the rhythmic drone of swapping discs and pressing buttons.

We have a 400 disc blu ray reader that we just load up and run a script. It rips blu rays at about 1 disc every 15 minutes. Average library is only 20 discs so around 5-6 hours per library.
