Ever heard of Group 1 Auto?

Worked for them about 10 years. Majority owner was Bob Howard for a long time, Earl Hesterberg is now in charge. It's publicly owned now.
So yes, I have heard of them.
Sonic automotive was owned by Bruton smith, but he sold out to local owners. I work for Bob Moore, owned by Mark now. 17 years of working in dealership service departments never heard of them being owned by Iranians.

Knippelmyer would be my choice were i to buy from government motor corp. Which ill never do again

Same here, I highly recommend Knipplemeier.

I just bought a new Jeep from David Stanley Dodge and while the salesman experience was typical, the price was impossible to beat. 2013 Wrangler Unlimited with MSRP of $26,690, invoice of about $25000, I got out the door for a few pennies over $22k with zero down. Best price I could find in the country by at least $3k. So, the price might bring me back. It's my first experience with David Stanley. No complaints, but the service and welcome are nothing compared to Knipplemeier.

Here, but occasionally There.
Well, if you happen to want an honest dealership and aren't hung up on Chevrolet, check out Diffee Ford in El Reno. We have been dealing with those folks for about 15 years. I've never seen the "game-playing" done. I once worked as a car salesman so I know about those games. Additionally, Diffee tends to keep their salesmen. I haven't looked in a long time, but it used to be that salesmen changed dealerships more often than I change my oil.

As mentioned by another, I will never own another GM or Chrysler product if it is at all possible. And, it isn't just because of the bail-outs. In all the vehicles I've owned and driven over the years, I've had less trouble with the Ford products than I did with the others....including foreign ones.

Heard about the Marc Heitz deal on 12/12. We bought our new car from Seth Wadley in Pauls Valley. Couldn't beat the service. Oil changes for life. Plus a bunch of other free service stuff.

Chevy is giving Mark Heitz fits because his building doesn't line up with Chevy corporates' ideas on how a dealership should look. They were trying to get him to remodel his four year old building and he doesn't like it.
