So I thought I would go and buy another pistol, ya know, getting ready for Christmas.
Everything was going just like normal, found the one I knew a kid would love, and went to filling out paperwork. The clerk asked for my DL or permit. I asked which was easier, and he said permit. Handed it over and finished filling out the form.
Hung around looking at ammo and scopes and what not....and he said something I hadn't heard before: you have been delayed.
My permit is less than a month old, I bought a pistol a month ago, and ordered another pistol from Palmetto State just a couple days ago.
My question is this....when my pistol arrives at the FFL, if I have not received a proceed on the other, can I legally submit paperwork for it? I know the FBI says 3 days and an automatic proceed is granted, but don't want this to become a habit.
