I in the majority haven’t shot a thing in 16 years. But bought “several” in the meantime…just in case. Hooper above is correct, you can carry and have a couple of clips on you and if the bad guy gets the drop on you, you probably are better off unarmed. It’s too late unless you expect something to happen and your weapon is in your hand.
I've toted a Garand and ammo for miles. If you're using that for daily carry, more power to you!

I'm only 61 but I try to get to Lexington Range once a month or more. BUT . . . if I was on the couch and feeling like a potato, I would probably keep that AR pistol next to me. Although, having come from a communist state, I actually feel very safe here. Not that I don't keep up the situational awareness, I just feel much better about it in Oklahoma!

My opinion, if I ever decide to own a gun.

First off you can’t shoot one if it’s not in your possession so don’t sweat the carry pistols.

I’d also ‘probably’ keep a rifle handy just in case the aliens invade.
You don't own a gun??

Gun safes are just shopping carts for bad guys. I keep my guns stashed around the house or in the closet, I'm sure others do too. The most it would take me to get to one and fire is about 4 seconds, one of which is just me staring wide eyed and processing that something's going on.

Hell ya brother.....safes are for puhsees!.... I just hide everything around the house and get the kids ready for another run of Hunger Games. May the odds ever be in their favor!

Glad I'm not the only one.

No they are dangerous and can hurt and kill somebody.

No they won't. You're thinking of electricity, not guns! :slap:
