While the initial reasons for the original GVRO law may have had some good points, IMHO, this expansion is making the GVRO ripe for misuse, abuse, manipulation, exploitation, etc. by the lib dem gun grabbers & haters and others.

California Assemblyman Phil Ting (D-San Francisco) is pushing to expand firearm confiscations by allowing co-workers and others to file a complaint that sets the “secret” confiscation process in motion.

Not surprised coming from San Francisco. They were the ones who put the last gun store in the city out of business.

I thought the law already passed January 1, 2016. Warrantless gun confiscation. Already been happening with confiscation of pre ban weapons.

Thus the term "expand" in the headline in the OP. Before, it was relative. With the expansion, your gun rights could be usurped by a coworker who has a grudge against you, a mental healt worker who is an anti-gun activist or even a school employee who doesn't know you but sees or even suspects you have a gun.

+1 Thanks for the assist. I thought my OP explanation of, "IMHO, this expansion is making the GVRO ripe for misuse, abuse, manipulation, exploitation, etc. by the lib dem gun grabbers & haters and others", should have made it crystal clear----evidently not to some.
