So did anyone hear about the 29 "single shot camo hunting rifles" that were stolen from a Bethany Gun Store. Well a vehicle parked outside. They said they were valued at 30k! What single shot camo hunting rifles are worth over 1k each and why leave them in a "truck" outside?
That's Ed Kirpatrick of Ed's Contenders. He goes to gunshows every so often to sell his wares, probably why he had them in a truck. I'm sure he had a buttload of barrels in that truck as well as rifles. He's a good feller and I hate that this happened to him.
That sucks. Those things aren't cheap! Hope he had good insurance.
Ed's Contender Barrels are pretty much a top shelf option for those guys who shoot the contender.
He's a big resource for that industry and is located right here in OK.
