Did Ruger discontinue the 10/22 charger pistol ??

A buddy of mine told me today that Ruger discontinued the 10/22 charger pistol. I guess they were not selling enough of them ?

Yeah, seen them over the years for sale. Only knew one person that owned one. Guess they just were not that popular.

My son (12) wants one but I doubt he's serious enough to pony up the money. Wait- yeah, I know he's not that serious.

I knew two people that had one. Then, one guy sold his a week later.

They aren't on their web site any more. I always wanted one but never could figure out why.

I woulda bought one but a buddy loaned me his for a weekend. He traded it off soon thereafter.

If only it was a .22 mag ir an hmr.

it's not like you can't make one if you wanted to, seemed like a waste of an action to me

It is too bad that Ruger won't sell 10/22 actions. If they sold them at the same profit amount that they get on the entire gun their margin would be greater and they would be better off. I have sent that idea to them many times.

They could sell them with or without bolts and triggers and make a lot of sales. Then you could buy an action and make your own pistol. I know you can get after market actions that are better than the Rugers now but they are kinda pricey.
