I have a Blue Scale, too. Had it for 10+ yrs. Balance beam scales are fiddly , especially if you are intending to weigh each powder charge. In my ever so humble opinion, any balance beam scale intended for handloading is good only for determining which full Lee Dipper to use for a given cartridge recipe. Think plinking or Cowboy Action Shooting - main match. If one is looking to load more precise ammunition for competitive matches or getting that target / critter at a more distant range, my recommendation is an electronic scale. Much more precise and lots faster.
