If you have to pick some stuff up from a salvage yard, is it worth it to haggle with them on the price? Some of their prices are outrageous knowing what they pay for vehicles that are totals and $50 to $100 for a "junker".

This is a pretty good site to find the stuff you need, but the prices on junk tend to make one balk. http://www.car-part.com/ Just wondering if they'll come off any or if I shouldn't waste my time.

I say give it a whirl ... sometimes they will, sometimes they won't. AND sometimes different employees are more inclined to haggle than others. If they tell you no you can always just walk away from the deal.

Some will, some won't. Most likely if you are a repeat customer, you'll get a lower price than the next guy. Same thing about getting rid of a junker. Some guys will get offered more.
