I liked the Pinto pretty well, had two of them, over the years in the mid-70's to late 80's. Though the last one blew up on the freeway in the middle of the night somewhere in southern Alabama, and I left my good hat with dad's home-made silver and turquoise hat band in it. That particular car was no great loss, but my HAT!I know it sounds weird, but I like odd shaped cars like the Gremlin and the Pinto. Friend had a Chevy Monza that I liked as well, though it only had a 2.5 four banger in it. But, I'm weird, so take that for what its worth.
Wee hours of the morning, on a short weekend trip home from Ft. Gordon, GA to Defuniak Springs, FL. And couldn't find the car when we finally made it back Sunday evening. Hope whoever got it loved that hat as much as I did. And burned the car!
