What conflicts has China fought the within the last 20 years?

China just launched their first used aircraft carrier.

China has built out their infrastructure considerably over the last several decades.

China's economy has been growing rapidly.

Building infrastructure equals jobs.

Infrastructure in the USA is needing an overhaul; electric grid, mass transit, water treatment, etc.

Just a poor dumb bible and gun clutching okie wanting to know.

The Chinese seem to be content to cultivate business around the world and not getting themselves involved in entangling alliances.

You can look at America's growth and influence on the world between 1850 and 1950 as a picture of what China's growth and influence will be on the world from 2000 to 2100. It's coming and there's no way to stop it.
