Droid Explodes in Man's Ear
A Texas man was rushed to the hospital after his cell phone exploded while he was on the phone. Aron Embry said he was making a call on his new Motorola Droid 2 when he heard a loud pop. Jeff Glor reports..

I didn't think it was possible for any GSM phone to work on a CDMA network? Heck..if it is I have some buddies that can pull it off but thanks for the offer!

I work in the cell phone industry. To my knowledge you are correct. the only exceptions are Rims world phones which are CDMA bur will accept a sim card when you travel to a country that uses sims. all you do is buy the card and reboot the phone. it then runs from the sim card.

It is not possible, 2 completely different radio signals, and the iphone, NO iphone has the correct receiver to run on verizon or sprint, for now.
