Amen to that. I carry because its too heavy to carry a cop around with you every where you go.

I live half a mile from the sherrifs department and it takes them longer to get here because they are all out on patrol or calls

I waited 45 minutes for the police to arrive on a felony. I was sitting on the guy in my front yard.

Long story short had an incident where I called TPD years ago at a business. They showed up 30 minutes late after person had left. Person returned called again and an officer showed up 15 minutes later. When officer went to put him in cuffs he swung at officer. I was on phone telling dispatcher what was happening. I kid you not in less than 2 minutes there were 4 cars and a motor cycle cop in that parking lot. The guy was soaked in pepper spray, handcuffed and a couple of his crew were hand cuffed also in no time.
