My old 06 is the last gun I’ll ever give up, it’s throat is eroded but it always keeps putting the bullet where it needs to be ever since 1991. I hand load for it but there’s possibly a stash of factory food for it somewhere around here.

So, military surplus is widely and readily available in .30-06?

I couldn’t say about that, but I’ve bought a bunch of Winchester and Federal 30-06 factory.
