I know this is another long shot, but any of y'all have a drum sander you'd be interested in selling? Something along the lines of the picture below...

I've even got a cabinet size Delta table saw that's been sitting in storage I'd trade... Anyway, let me know if you've got something! Oh, and I'm looking for up to an 18" drum, not a giant 3-phase behemoth (that I'd love, but have no room for)!

A drum sander has been on my list for some time. Whatever you look at do some research, seems that some of these machines are OK, and others are not. I've looked at some of the smaller Grizzly machines in person at the Springfield store(not the one you posted), they look pretty cheap/light duty. I see older Delta's show up and they seem to be very problematic from the research I've done. You can PM me if you want, but what are you making?

I completely forgot to respond back, sorry! The primary thing I'd be using it for right now is to true up knife scales that were cut from a block as well as working down pieces used for saya and other components. I know there's other ways of doing it, but this would be it's primary purpose. When I lived in Oregon I was getting into making guitars (and have enough material for probably a dozen guitars if anybody is interested...) and a drum sander is extremely helpful when dealing with thin tops, backs, sides, rosettes, etc...
