Duracoated my new M&P 9c

Can you hand paint/apply the duracoat or does it have be sprayed?

I don't know, haven't tried it, but it has crossed my mind. I might have to mix a lil up and try it on something....knife or flashlight.

I have been thinking of Duracoating but frankly am afraid I'll ruin my gun's internals - how did you go about protecting the internals - complete disassembly?

Can DC be used on revolvers? I have a couple of older Smith snubbies - work guns - that either need refinish in blue of something like DC.

Any advice from you - or from any other DC experienced users?

I think it would look good if you paint the back strap gray and leave the front the way it is.

I like it, I would leave the back strap as is though. I am going to try out DC before too long. Dad has a 22 mag and I have an old Franchi that will be the pilot tests. If those go well the Saiga will be next.
