A crowd of 50,000 went to an outdoor music festival in Houston Friday (supposed to run for 2 days), people knocked down fences and metal detectors to get in.
Fire chief says around 9:15 p.m. Friday, a mass of people "began to compress" in front of the stage.
Houston police chief said a security guard was apparently jabbed in the neck with a syringe which was suspected to contain an opioid drug; security guard was administered Narcan.
Police chief said there were "several, many" instances of concert goers being treated with Narcan in the incident.
11 of 25 people taken to hospitals were in cardiac arrest, 300 people were treated at a field hospital set up at the scene.
The deceased range in age from 14 to 27.
Autopsies are pending and the second day of the festival has been cancelled.
One unnamed source "close to concert organizers" told the NY Post they believe all the victims were in one area and may have been stuck with needles against their will.

The Tulsa World, and local TV news, have reported this event as, the crowd crushing people, the last two days? No mention of injections! Obviously one of these versions is false, anyone have more accurate information on what happened here? I don't watch any national news anymore, I can barely stand the propaganda on the local news media!

"Several videos showed Scott apparently noticing an ambulance moving through the crowd. He stopped performing for a few moments, then promised to “make this motherf–king ground shake,” and resumed the show."

This cat should be included in the homicide investigation and subsequent charges.

I disagree. He may be a scumbag of the first order, contributing to the decline of Western Civilization, but he didn't make those people crush the others.

Part of our superior system of government and society in general is hold people, even mentally challenged rap aficionados responsible for their own actions.

The creature performing rhymes on stage didn't crush anyone.

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.

If it looks like a rapper, sags his pants like a rapper, and sounds like a rapper, then it probably is crappy music with a crap audience. Not belittling the deaths of the people but I can't help but wonder if Darwin was at play. PSGWSP

I'll be that guy -

It is Darwin at work. Perhaps stage another Travis Scott concert in Death Valley this July. No water allowed, only alcoholic drinks.

Ought to be a hoot!

One of the linked stories in the original post stated that a number of people were treated with Narcan.

From that story:

"Police have not yet interviewed the guard, Finner said, but medical staff that treated him said he was administered Narcan, a drug used to revive people who have overdosed on opioids, and they saw what looked like a needle mark on his neck.

Narcan was used to revive some other concertgoers as well, Finner said, but he was unable to say how many.

“We do know that there were several, many, instances where they did administer Narcan on site,
” he said."
