Electric motor help

How does one find out if this little motor is 110 volt or 220? Tag is all worn off and I know nothing about electric powered devices.

If I messed with anything g like that, I’d just find a way to shock myself! Electricity and I don’t get along very well. I’d start here

It appears to be a 120v motor. One hot, one neutral, one ground.

But that's just an educated guess from looking at the pictures.

I’m 100 percent sure it’s a motor that requires electric power of some sort because I can’t find a gas tank on it anywhere. I’ve had this thing for 10 plus years thinking I’ll find a use for it some day. I’m still looking for a use.

Looks like a gear motor (offset shaft). Not too useful (IMO) except for maybe special applications.

Try this @twocan. Can you spin the shaft? Now twist all three wires together and see if there is any difference.

Where did it come from? History. Hard to tell but the label seems to say 1 PH in the lower right corner.
Indicating an AC motor.

No difference in the way it spins. Had to use vise grips both ways.
