Our August bill was $234.47 as was the water bill.
I think Hoddy explained this once. Something about electric generation spools up during periods of high demand, and since it's use it or lose it, lowering the demand evens out the production/consumption ratio... We pay for the fuel power we're not using too. Rabbit and the hare sort of thing. Slow and steady production is most economical for the company and cheapest for the consumer.
