Get ready... all of this crap is coming if we don't stand up.

I saw something the other day about Phoenix already has had a ban on wood burning fireplaces for YEARS. You can't build a new house with one.

That makes me want to build a house down there with no permit and make them force me to change it. What honest reason could they have for that?

HaHa! I just built a double barrel wood stove for my shop. Home built stuff will be off the grid....clandestine wood burners rule......

Seriously, this is nothing new. 20 years ago, I had to attend a school in Vermont for two weeks in Feb. Its not like Ok. They have a 10mph wind up there and all of the major news organizations mobilize and converge on the location.

Its very mountainous, with the cities in valley's. During the winter, the wood smoke is so thick that you can't see very far, so they have days/weeks when one can't run wood burners.

It's already here. Light bulbs, table salt, soda size, toilets, shower heads, diesel fuel, ethanol, egr valves, catalytic converters, dpf filters, the list goes on and on. It's already here, We missed or in some cases our parents missed the chance to stand up years ago.

The Goverent just needs one more new department to keep an eye on the department that is supposed to be keeping an eye on all of its departments. Then they could get something done.

Because they have serious air quality compliance issues in the winter, due to the terrain and thermal inversions. Same brown cloud that Denver sometimes gets in the winter. And people in Denver with woodstoves and fireplaces better watch the news or check the website before heating with wood, or you risk a fine. Pellet stoves are exempt, since they burn so clean.

I've seen some days where visibility was bad, and it was difficult for healthy people to breathe when exerting one's self.
