You are so stuck in your patterns of thinking, so rigid in your beliefs, that you are incapable of even considering how your system perpetuates misfortune and misery.

We have rigid beliefs because our beliefs have led us to success, happiness, fortitude, temperance, respect, and confidence; neither of which brings us misfortune nor misery. What has your thinking and wishy-washy beliefs perpetuated for yourself? How has your thinking and wishy-washy beliefs delivered you from misfortune and misery?

If you are trying to convince us that your system is the best, show us how your way is the best - or even just better.

Take a day or two if you need to, but since you are already on your path, you must have had the answer for some time now.

My manifesto is that so many of you have bought into the idea of American exceptionalism, that you are blind to the ugly truth that is modern day America. You simply accept that America has some special standing to be the moral arbitrator of the world, yet say nothing of the injustice that is rampant in our everyday national life. You bask in the fantasy that we are the good guys. Here is some news. We are no more the good guys today than we were during WW2. You are the type of people who gobbled up the propaganda movies, eyes moist with sadness and pride when Sgt. Stryker (played by the draft evading Marion "Duke" Morrison) took a fatal bullet from a sneaky "Jap" sniper. Even your heroes are false.

There is work to be done in this country and it starts with people of your ilk putting aside your false beliefs and humbling yourselves before the alter of political reality.

From the looks of your attitude displayed here on this thread I am firmly convinced you wouldn't understand a thing about respect even if I were to explain it to you. I suspect your parents tried very hard to teach you such things (that is, if you are indeed over the age of 16) but it is clear you were determined to make them fail.
