Didn't get a chance to watch the video, but my personal experience is that .22RF fired under water exits the barrel, goes about a foot and then curves sharply to the right as it slows down.
Fired the Ruger Mark 1 bull barrel many times under water to see what happens.
That's the one caliber tried.
Watched the Myth Busters video of "shooting fish in a barrel". Their results mirrored mine. No fish were harmed or killed.
