States can still regulate it though.
I'd drink to that.
Farmers and ranchers used to own stills as part of home cooking...like canning, salting, smoking
... pickling, cheesemaking, etc...
I'd like to have that capability myself. "Still", the equipment can be pricey. Copper prices are up and stainless ain't cheap neither.
You can brew beer, but you can't distill liquors without a Federal license, at least according to this source:

Well a lot of my relatives in East Tennessee and Western North Carolina still distill whiskey for personal use in fact it's not how many bushels per acre it's how gallons per acre.
