An unnamed distant relative; a druggie, thief, prescription fraud writin' shopliftin' lazy no-good be-otch, has a punk-azz ex-con "boyfriend" who served time; 3 years I think, for armed robbery. I obviously have possession of a firearm or two. First of all; are these two idiot/thugs allowed to hang out and consort? Second; because of my ownership of firearms, is it illegal for them to come inside my home? I know; I know; I have forbidden it (I said something to the effect of: "You may not come in my house". I just want to know if these two felonious "stains" may cavort and frolic together and what various forms of legal recourse are available to me should I come home and there they are; sitting on my furniture, eatin' my sammich, and eyeing my worldly goods.

They can be together if there are no parole/probation restrictions, as far as I know.

You've already told them not to be in your house? Is everyone in your immediate family on the same sheet of music, so no one accidentally invites them in? if so, and they come in knowing they aren't invited, they've just tresspassed. In Ohio, it'd be an aggravated tresspass, but not sure on OK law yet.

The male of the two low-lifes (can't bring myself to say manly) pieces of shiite has now sent a text to my wife's cell phone informing her of his disdain and lack of respect and that he will do as he so wishes, despite my simple, clear instructions to him to remain outside the confines of my home. This former Marine Infantry Officer thinks that the "undesirable" pen-punk may perhaps lack good judgment.

That should now be followed by a phone call to him telling him not to contact you or your wife in any way. Then the next time he does, you can add telephone harassment to his problems. :)

Wow... sounds like someone asking for trouble.

Anyone know if this is grounds for a restraining order? A known convicted violent felon (armed robbery) who is outright expressing his refusal to abide by a homeowner's request to remain off the property? I know no crime has actually been committed until he trespasses, but it seems he is expressing his intent, which I would think would be worth a call to the local LEOs...

Just my $0.02

I don't get it.

If you don't want to associate with them or have them around then how would they ever have the opportunity to be at your home?

Why would you even talk to them?
