I've heard the Ferris are good and have plenty good reviews.
I'm still using that cub cadet you gave me and after putting a few hundred $$$ into it, it still runs fair and cuts great but it uses a quart of oil everytine you start it!!! I have to disconnect the battery eevry time(BIG PAIN)
Just recently bought a Scag, have about 5 hours on it.
Has the cushion ride seat.

Hustler mowers also has a front suspension option, if that's a hard requirement. (Hustler flex forks)
My (2006) Super-Z has front suspension and the suspension seat.

I agree, go see Mike's Mowers.

I buy from Mike. I will go talk to him about suspension seats.

I am also looking to plow, disc and harrow everything. Then grade it to my liking and drag a chainlink drag on it. Throw seed and water. But next Spring.

I recently just found that this old house is surrounded by St. Augustine Grass. The “yard” around the home is smooth. The other 2 acres are rough in a few places.

St. Augaustine is not to be up this far north. But I have an awesome stand of it around the home. I am learning about it.
