Here is my favorite toy. It is a Firestorm 22 with a Tac-65 suppressor and carbon fiber grips. The pistol can be purchased with a short barrel or an extended 6" barrel. I purchased the 6" and had it cut and threaded.

Ruger 10/22 Action, 2# Timney Trigger, E.R. Shaw 20" Bull Barrel, Fajen Stock, Harris Bipod, BSA 4-12x50 Scope, and a Spectre 'Can' .... Cycles standard .22 LR as well as Sub-Sonics and holds a heck of a group at 100 yards ...... 'almost' whisper quiet with the can and Sub-Sonics. All you hear is the bolt cycling and then the noise when it hits the steel target. Click-Ting, Click-Ting .... It is a tad heavy at 9 pounds but the bipod makes it very manageable.

Wow, this thread is still going. Here is my part to keep it alive.
Old School military trainer I got from the CMP long ago.

It came from Uncle Sam already drilled and tapped. I restored it with a period Mossberg #6 scope and mount.

Note the NWSC marking. Naval Weapons Support Center Marked. In Crane Indiana, Name changed to Naval Surface Warefare Center in 1992.
