Fixing to get cold cold!

I hate cold weather ready for Summer and the triple digits.

SWMBO had me put one of those vinyl curtain doors in the hallway a couple weeks ago. Trying to let us keep the bed & bathrooms warmer than the rest of the house. Woke me up about 8:30 to make her some tesure. That Morning Thunder tea with vanilla Ensure instead of milk. Step through the curtain in my skivvys, and things start freezing. Back door was apparently left unlocked and blew open. It's on the north side of the house...

Wondered why the curtain was moving, thought someone had just gone through it. Yep. Father Winter!

My dog started barking loud as hell around 5 ish! **** blew all over the back covered porch and he didn’t know what’s up! I had to let him outside to see, so he could check it out himself and see nothing is wrong!

And damn it’s bitter cold when a guy is buck ass naked on the back porch at 5ish and it’s blowing hard!

We didn't get the 4" they were calling for, but it IS brisk outside. Currently -8 windchill. Next few mornings will be chilly for sure.

The cold is one thing you can bundle up to keep warm but when outside in the wind its another ballgame. I had plans for tomorrow but think they will change even thou i started on the southside of the timber and working north so i would have somewhat of a wind break i think i will just stay home since this would be my 3rd day of not being homebound due to sickness no since in taking a chance and making it worse.

Howling wind and mid 20s out near Tuttle. But if you’re blocked from the wind it really isn’t too bad out.

Winter is always work for us because we have a crawlspace house built in the 40s and animals outside. But somehow I actually enjoy it.
