When some groups retaliated by securing and publishing the names and info of the journalists, the journalists tried to sue and file charges.
It only stopped when legal steps were taken to deny the "public record" of all the CHL holders from having their names and info put in the newspaper.

When so-called journalists are no longer interested in serving any interest but their own political agenda, to whom are they being responsible? Nobody.
They are the "hired guns" of the anti-gun activists.

I agree with your point and you could be right, but in my mind the difference, in this case as told in the posted article, is that we are talking about the records of a court proceeding not a list of gun owners.
