I have one of the new ones. Never owned an older one but have shot them. Miserable triggers and the mag safety is a no-go for me.

The new one, though... Damn good trigger and 17 rounds. The safety is like a higher end 1911 and no mag disconnect. I never liked them until now.

If you can get your hands-on one of the Springfield's, do it without second thought.
I picked up this Girsan LW from 1911master, I can't wait to see how it does. I don't know the lb. of the trigger pull, but it seems pretty nice.

If you can get your hands-on one of the Springfield's, do it without second thought.

I purchased one of the Springfield Armory SA-35's (my only 9mm firearm) back in Jan. of 2023 and they are great guns.....I've ran real close to 1000 rounds through it and have not had one malfunction.

Atwoods and Academy here in Norman normally carry them......$649.00 at Atwoods and $749.00 at Academy.
