Yeah, I know, but as I get older, I get more enjoyment out of planting food plots and getting ready for deer hunting than actually deer hunting.:anyone:

I haven’t got to see my OK food plots since I planted, but my son said they are growing well. I sat in a stand this evening wanting to draw first blood (pig) with my new muzzleloader and took this picture of my plot here. The 4x4 and wheat are really coming on.

You may have got some rain on your Ok food plots this evening. I know I did and really needed it. Over seeded some ladino clover and it was just coming up when it started drying out. With any luck this will save it. More rain expected mid week into the weekend.

According to the weather app I use, the rain should’ve missed my place, and that’s fine since part of my plots haven’t completely dried out from the floods a couple weeks ago.

Built just to the east of you and raced eastward I believe. Lightning to the east right now is impressive.

These deer have all but abandoned the protein feeder for Deerslayer’s 4x4 food plot mix. I can’t think of a better endorsement for the mix than a picture like this.
