Low chances on two days next week it looks like.
I saw that. The weather app I use actually showed some accumulation for next Wednesday or Thursday, but they took that out. I had been thinking about coming up and planting anyway, but my luck if I do plant, it won’t rain for a month or will flood and stay underwater for 7 days like it did a few years ago.:rolleyes2

Sounds like typical farming to me. Better odds shooting craps in Vegas.

I have commitments coming up so it’s plant now or forget it.
Already mowed last week, found some winter wheat and headed out today.
Tilled, put on the broadcast spreader to put 5 bushels on an acre and a quarter. Yeah it’s heavy, but with it so dry, birds, etc will be picking the seed from the ground until we get rain. Zero ground moisture.
OSU has done studies saying broadcasting wheat requires 2X the amount of seed vs drilling in to get an equal crop.
It was a little dusty when tilling to say the least but it’s in the ground waiting on moisture.
2 plots completed today.
