OK I had one of the women at work make them for me. These cookies are AWESOME!!! My only modification would be to lessen the amount of chocolate chips in the cookie. Other than that the cookie is awesome!! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

**sigh** I seriously want to make some of these but I seriously don't think I can do it and stay out of them. I fried up some bacon yesteday for GC's breakfasts this week and OMG ...

While eating like a rabbit has it's benefits, I'm seriously missing my bacon ... seriously ...

I would deviate from the recipe to include less chocolate chips. The chocolate chips are a little overwhelming however the bacon really is the ying to the cookie's yang! WOW!

I'm bad about only putting chips in half the dough and then putting pecans in the other half and baking them up that way. I can see where the bacon would play off the dough's sweetness ... Good GAWD I'm drooling all over the keyboard! lol

Guess I will have to try some first before I really judge but even though I like bacon, and I like cookies but combining them seems just a little off to me.

I agree...the jury is still out on this one

Give it a shot, it's a contrast of flavors. Like salt + watermelon.

Can't say I've had bacon cookies, but I've had chocolate covered bacon and it was interesting. I've also had chocolate laced with cayenne powder. Just last night I drank of one these:

Tasted like a Snapple yet left my mouth slightly burning.
