Since he's only 5yrs old, I would recommend something easy for him to grasp. Muay Thai is punching, kicking, knees and elbows without learning a bunch of BS. What 5yr old doesn't want to punch and kick?

LOL! Mine uses punching, kicking and knees effortlessly. Hasn't gotten around to elbows yet but one imagines he will.
