This fox is not too scared of much. I got within about 15 feet of it this time. This is the 3rd time I've seen it in a year. Right in the middle of town. This was near the back yard of a church in town. I ended up driving into the alley and may have interrupted it's hunting of the cat.

They like to live close to humans, less coyotes to eat them.

There is a large population of them around Ponca within the refinery. I would see them crossing the road along it on my way to work just before daylight heading out to hunt the neighboring fields.
Back in the day, E.W. Marland, the founder of the Marland Oil company that ended up Conoco used to import them for fox hunts. A lot of the hunts were not successful with the fox winning/surviving, and went on to establish a home.

I see one at QT in Bixby pretty regularly. people toss it food and it will follow them to their vehicle
