I can't seem to find a human at lowes or Home Depot that has seen or delt with these kits. I'm wanting to insulate a 16' and a 9' garage doors. Do any of you have experiance with this and what kit would you recommend ??

Both Lowes and HD sells the kits (according to their website). I've never done it myself, but the Owens Corning kit at HD seems to have good reviews.

I'd spend some time on Google and YouTube to find the best solution.

Insulation is so cheap its almost easier to pay to get it done. Im a GC, if you want PM and I will give you a guy to call. I bet you could almost have it done professionally for what you will pay full retail for in a "kit"

My local lowes no longer carries the kits in the store. It's just as easy to cut the foamboards yourself. They just don't come with the little plastic trim cover. You can that yourself as well.

By two or three 4X8 sheets of stryofoam and do it yourself.

^^ This is what we did. Put it up with liquid nails. Used the foil sided foam, foil side facing to the inside of the garage. Makes a huge difference in the temp inside in both the winter and the summer, and I keep the garage at about 60 degrees in the winter with the heater.
