That's a decent price, especially since it includes a .30 ammo can. Those of us who haven't stocked up or who don't reload will be forced to go that route someday.

Yes, you do. Hopefully you're saving up to buy some of the CMP HXP ammo.

ETA: Or buy a ported gas plug so you can adjust the gas pressure to shoot commercial ammo that's not labeled as "Garand safe":

Been looking at that and reading threads over at CMP. I will probably eventually go that route.

Have one on both my .30-06 and .308 shooters and a similar device (made by Schuster) on my M1A. More for peace of mind than anything else, but figure it's cheap insurance in any case.
