I truly do not understand what has happened to doctors. What has happened to the Hippocratic Oath? It's no longer taken. Do no harm is violated, why would any doctor feel that prescribing a lifetime of meds electively is wise, or do a surgery that will have many side effects, most are not good. I can understand there are those that may really feel they need or want the surgery, but it is an ADULT choice. Also we should not pay for the whim of someone elses' desires.
