George Barris passed away this morning at the age of 89. He will be missed by car lovers everywhere.

I remember as a kid building model kits that were copies of his custom cars. And then there were the early Hot Wheels cars.

Could any car designer have produced more designs that were produced as Hot Wheels? I think not.
