I need to live vicariously thru you guys so, what you get??? :w000t:

I received a 2 pound bag of pecan halves and a $50 gift card to buy ammo with. Plus the BBQ feast my sis-n-law sent us, which was great by the way. The wife loved the Pork spare ribs and I the beef burnt ends which were very tender. Even the sauce was pretty good. Not crazy about the cheesy corn but I bet cheesy potatoes would be great. We like the cheese sauce but neither one of us can eat much corn. Still have a lot of left overs of everything else. Lunches this week. :P

My stepfather in his retirement has been doing a lot of leather work. Last year he made me a very fine backpack that will hold a laptop. Apparently he’s upped his game and made this beautiful bag for me as I take a lot of one and two day trips. All made and stitched by hand.

I was blown away. The picture doesn’t do it justice.

Jack Stack's is on our list when we do an annual KC Q Crawl. Their Freight House restaurant location is worth a visit. Their burnt ends are legendary although I did have some comparable at the new Clarks Crew BBQ in Tulsa.

I bet their brisket is great too. I ever win the lotto I may have to order in some of the BBQ about once a month. :P

We have not tried the brownie yet but I could eat the beans for desert anyway. I would also love to try their BBQ sausage. To me the sausage is one way to tell a good BBQ place.

My Q meter is based on sliced brisket. So many places try to pass off pot roast as smoked Q; like Famous Dave's.

My Mother gave my brother, sister in law, my wife, and me a pocket size flashlight and $500 each, and I’m not sure how much she gave all the grandkids. My in-laws gave us some cooking and kitchen stuff that’s always useful, and my wife gave me a hi tech set of ratchet straps and a credit card bill for the stuff she bought everyone else though I don’t know the amount yet. :rolleyes2
