Jack Stack's is on our list when we do an annual KC Q Crawl. Their Freight House restaurant location is worth a visit. Their burnt ends are legendary although I did have some comparable at the new Clarks Crew BBQ in Tulsa.
Indeed the burnt ends at Clarks Crew in Tulsa are out of this world. I got the brisket and burnt ends two meat combo last time. I might get a two meat combo next time with both choices being the burnt ends.

I bought myself a brand new, freshly printed copy of the new revised 3rd edition of Guy Lautards The Second Machinists Bedside Reader. His Bedside Readers have been out of print for decades. Got the original about this time last year. Waiting for the revised Third Reader now, and hoping he lives long enough to write the Fourth he's been promising for quite a few years. Village Press, if you know what this is and want one yourself. 😀

Santa brought me a bumper from IKEA for all the deer that like to hang around when I get off work around midnight.

Yes, actually I did. A metal cut out of a Ford Bronco from my sister and brother in law, a Bronco Parking sign from my wife, and an Auto Start/Stop Eliminator from my wife (very frustrating feature on new cars with auto transmissions.) Funny but the small things are appreciated. The Irony, the Bronco was supposed to be my wife's.

Not anything really at Christmas time. Wife and I rarely buy each other anything for Christmas as we tend to buy what we want at other times during the year. However, our youngest son bought me a new Buck Stockman pocket knife, and the wife bought me the new version of the Nikon FTZ lens adapter that lets one use an F-mount lens on a Z-mount camera.
