I actually took the combo out to my friend's place a couple weeks ago and had a lot of fun with it. Super quiet (but not quite backyard in the city bird hunting quiet) and not a single failure out of the new pistol. I shot a few different types of ammo (subsonic, standard and high velocity) and the volume level with the Sparrow on was hearing safe (to me at least) with all varieties. Definitely worth the price of admission.

So tell me is that a real suppressor where you pay for a tax stamp?
And if yes it baffles me as to why it is not back yard bird hunting quiet with sub sonic ammo.

I believe it's because it's one of (if not THE) oldest and cheapest designs for a rimfire suppressor. I think there are newer designs out there that are supposed to be more quiet, but I just didn't want to pay twice the price for a little bit quieter. Honestly, I have suppressors for the novelty and for the ability to shoot without hearing protection. So as long as it's quiet enough to be heading safe, I'm good.

I'm also wondering if it has anything to do with the pistol I have it on. I need to get a couple other 22 pistols to try it out on.

All i got was this good for nothing winter illness that is going around with headache,sinus running and cough with some body aches, its been about 5 years since i have felt this bad so i quess it was my time, just glad the weather has been wet to where im not really missing to much work on the farm cause if the weather had been fair i would be feeling worse due to unable to get out and work more.

I got the greatest gift of being around the people I love. Cooked lots of good food and watched everyone enjoy it. No shooting related stuff for me this year, but I buy that stuff all year long anyway. I have far greater needs completing the house.
