Never loaded for 45 ACP before but I've got 200 cases sized and primed. Ready to go! The bullets I have around are a whole boatload of 230gr lead cast (home-grown and lubed) and some 200gr plated semi-wadcutter thingies from Midway. Powders I have on hand are Unique, Titegroup, and Bullseye. I haven't started looking at recipes yet but figured you all might have some suggestions for the goods I have around.

This stuff will run through a RIA Officer's model 1911 and a Smith 4566.

Go!

Plated SWC's......Cool!! Load some on the warm side, and your going to find a load your 4566 will shoot like a lazer!! You might even want to carry as a defensive load.

hey steve, hows the 45 going? i like it because it is so easy to load. big cases are nice. the 45 colt i did loaded beautifully.

Went pretty smooth. Loaded up 100 rounds using aeropb's Bullseye recipe and the 230 gr LRN.

Thanks! I'll try that with the wadcutters.
