If I'm not mistaken the FBI model 19M should have a half moon cut on the front of the magwell.

I thought internal was really the only way to truly tell? Perhaps posting pictures would help validate the FBI status, op.

I wonder why they bothered to put the Gen5 stamp on the slide? They didn't mark the 19X with the Gen5 engraving. The 19M is just another variant like the 19X...right?

The 19M is the model for the FBI and they have specific features they requested such as a rounded magazine release, Amerigo agent night sights, Ambi slide release, half moon cut on the front of the magwell, nDLC coated internal parts etc.

The Glock 19M – 9mm was developed for use by the FBI. The 19M includes all of the standard Gen5 features –Additionally, to meet the FBI’s service standards, the 19M also includes Ameriglo Agent Night Sights, the Extended Ambidextrous Slide Stop Lever, and the unique rounded “FBI” magazine catch. The Glock 19 Gen 5 pistol in 9mm is ideal for a more versatile role due to its reduced dimensions. The new frame design without finger grooves still allows to instantly customize its grip to accommodate any hand size by mounting the different back straps. The reversible magazine catch and ambidextrous slide stop lever make it ideal for left and right-handed shooters. The rifling and the crown of the barrel were slightly modified for increased precision.

Here is one that I had in fde. There were very few of them made. The guys on Glocktalk go down a rabbit hole on all the specs, etc. and changes that have been made. May help.
