Answered my own question; it is possible to convert a G21 to 10mm, and at less cost than I initially thought. Swap out the magazine, and get a new barrel and a heavier RSA and you're in business. So says these guys anyway. Hope this helps.

Conversion is answered.

The value would depend very much on the individual gun itself. The Gen 2 is less desirable as a shooter because of the larger frame than a Gen 3SF and the Gen 4.
As a collector, the serial numbers will come into play. A early 2 alpha character prefix is more desirable than a 3?alpha. Pre-Ban guns and mags higher. Complete with original box, manual, mags, accessories are a plus. Never fires samples.

A Gen 2 that has seen duty use and inept the gun being correct is 350ish. A New in box complete early sample might bring twice that with the right buyer. Collectors desire as high quality a sample as possible. It takes very little to turn the desirable sample into a sub $590 gun.
