Glock 41

I think the 41 is the interesting one of the two new releases. A long .45 with a narrow slide. I bet the point ability will be excellent and the recoil soft.

Unloaded, it's a little nose heavy. But, it points well. I will have one.

How many rounds does the mag hold on the 41? Is this an answer to the needs of shooters in New York? They could sell new guns that hold seven rounds instead of new mags that hold seven for the old guns.

No. The 41 is the practical/tactical 45 ACP. You need it in New York, you just can't have it in New York!

Would put it out of their normal price range/market. I could see a Glock Pro Shop in the near future; OR pistols and conversions, upgraded/tuned triggers, etc.

Oops. I posted about the 41 in the 42 thread. The 41 fits quite well in the standard frame Serpa holster I have. Range report on both to follow this evening.

I'm going to take a T&E G41 and a G42 to local range on Thursday around lunch time (12-1pm or so) to test them out and see if I like them. If someone shows up with their own .380 or .45ACP ammo, I would be inclined to let them have a go so I can have feedback from other sources. I'd like to stick to the local indoor range but may have to go out to Banner Rd.
