So for those that have handled it, would you say the Glock 42 is overbuilt? I see the general agreement is that it fits the same niche as many other 9mm sized pocket/carry guns by other manufacturers. I would bet that at next years shot show you will see a 9mm version. Like the 17 becoming the 22, 19 to the 23, etc.

I could definitely see them releasing a G43 in 9mm. Hopefully sooner than SHOT Show 2015 though.

I want one, but I want the new Remington R51 first. Smaller than the 42, and 9mm! Reminds me of a CZ82 and Colt 1903 Hammerless.
