Well, I've made it to the ground blind. I was in the stand at 6:45, had a 8 point come thru at 7:30, got completely fed up with the 125mph wind hitting me in the face at 8:00.

Lots of deer below me in the dark this morning. Very windy, seen 2 does and 2 dinks so far in daylight. I'll sit until 10 and give it another try this evening.

I'm watching a spike at the feeder now. He keeps looking behind him but nothing else yet.
I don't have either one of the bucks I've seen this morning on camera.

Pretty morning. Calm winds on this side of the state. Lot of movement. No shooters.

Ended up seeing 4 small bucks. Hopefully the bigguns will move this evening.

The only tree I was in this morning was one the wife wanted trimmed! Can't make it this evening either. I want to see some pics of deer posted this evening.

From my camera info for the past week it looks like the movement is gravitating more towards daylight each day. I'm not gonna hunt for a few days and hunt the cameras. My shooter came in at last light last night and I don't want to ruin it taking a chance of hunting this evening.

I drove two hours to check my Camera last night. Get all the way home and see that this guy showed up Thursday. He was in there at 6:50 AM yesterday. Got all my gear together and cleaned up and headed back down there. It would be story book if I did get him because a buddy backed out on me on leasing this place. Headed to the stand at 3 AM. Doubt this will work or he will even stay around till daylight but it's worth a shot. Wish me luck!

Nonsensical deer hunting has returned big dividends for me. Go with your gut and don’t second guess yourself. Good luck!!!

Finally got a few showing up. Youngins, never got a good side shot of the last buck though. Hundreds of acres of beans near by yet to be cut so hopefully there will be some more appear. Still no signs of the two from last year that I hoped to see year.
