His ear is mess up from the tracking device that's been in place since it was a fawn.
That's what I was wondering. Too good to be true typically means it is. Given he posted a pic of a dog now, I'm guessing we're right?

Or maybe from the error in Photoshop?

My dad is retired and does one better, he sends pics of deer and sometimes one he kills.
I pester back. With the cellular game cams, I can see if he is sleeping in one of the stands in the back ground when deer trigger to snap a photo. I usually wait until its gone and then text him pics of what he missed.

Lol, that's great

Maybe I don't want everybody seeing it, maybe it was bait.

Thieves and poachers will friend people on forums just to steal from them later on. (They use the "friendship" and information gained in posts to learn work schedule, what kind of stands, cameras etc. you use.) Or maybe its just a good buck that you post game cam pics of that mysteriously disappears. It could have moved on, or you could have invited a road hunter unknowingly.

I agree. But with my work schedule, I’ve gotta hunt the days I have off and I can’t seem to catch a day off on one of the cold fronts. I just remind myself it’s a marathon not a sprint and I’ve gotta be patient. Learned that lesson a couple years ago.

That's a Stud bleak! Several friends have had new mature deer show up in the last few days. Favorite time of the year!

I drove two hours to check my Camera last night. Get all the way home and see that this guy showed up Thursday. He was in there at 6:50 AM yesterday. Got all my gear together and cleaned up and headed back down there. It would be story book if I did get him because a buddy backed out on me on leasing this place. Headed to the stand at 3 AM. Doubt this will work or he will even stay around till daylight but it's worth a shot. Wish me luck!
