Ive lived around Grand Lake for 18yrs.The fishings was great up until about 7 yrs ago.Anyone else from the area notice the fishing has really sucked?
think that it has anything to do with the amount of jet skis zipping around the lake?
Its been a few years since I've been at Grand. We always stayed at Terra Miranda, or Longs resort. The fishing was awesome every time we went. Sorry to hear its not doing as good. I'm used to Kaw lake which is like fishing in a dry hole if your a bass fisherman, so Grand was a real treat for me. Always said and still do, that would be one of the places I'd think of to retire at if I could be in a deep cove, and have waterfront property for a year around dock.
No boats or jets ski where i fish.The water traffic is awful around the lake.

I know Tenkiller is included in the chicken litter suit. Was Grand included?
Tenkiller used to be so clear, until all that happened. We could dive anywhere and have good visibility, but now its just swimming thru algae. Sometime you can find clear water below the thermocline though.
